20. BHARATPUR SUBSTATION

 Bharatpur Substation, located in Chitwan's Narayani zone, supplies power to Kawasoti, Parsa, Chanauli, Narayanghat, Bharatpur, and Gaidakot. Marshyngdi Power House feeds Bharatpur Substation through 132KV Single Circuit Line. Through 132kV Single Circuit Lines, Bharatpur Substation is linked to Damauli, Hetauda, and Bardghat Substations. Bharatpur Substation was built in 1979 and has a capacity of 132/11kV and 3 x 3.35MVA. The capacity of the substation was increased by cascading 132/66kV, 3x3.35MVA and 66/11kV, 6.3MVA transformers. In 1995, the substation was updated with the installation of a 132/33kV, 15MVA transformer with a new transformer bay and three 33kV line bays servicing the 33kV Kawasoti, Parsa, and Chanauli substations.In 2004, the 15 MVA Transformer was introduced. In 2011, a 132/11 KV, 22.5 MVA Transformer Bay was installed. In 2017, another 132/33 KV, 30 MVA Transformer Bay was installed. In 2019, another 132/11KV, 2*22.5 MVA power transformer was renovated to 2*30MVA.
