Amlekhgunj Substation, located in the Bara district's Narayani zone, supplies power to the Amlekhgunj region. Through a T link, Amlekhgunj Substation receives electricity from the Hetauda - Birgunj 66kV Double Circuit line. Amlekhgunj Substation was built in 1972 with a capacity of 66/11kV, 1.5MVA, and was expanded to 3.15MVA in 2005. In 2017, the 31.15MVA Transformer was updated to 7.5MVA.
