The new Parwanipur Substation with Double Bus System, located in Paten district's Parwanipur, Nartwani zone, supplies power to Jitpur, Parwanipur, Nitanpur, and Birgunj. The New Parwanipur Substation is linked to the Chandranigahpur and Hetauda Substations through 132W Lines. The new Parwanipur Substation opened in 2007 with two 132/11kV, 22.5MVA transformers. The 66/11kV Old Parwanipur Substation was decommissioned and replaced with the 132/11kV New Parwanipur Substation. Interconnection of 132/66kV and 45MVA The power transformer was installed at the start of fiscal year 2008/09, and an additional 132/66W, 45 MVA bay was added in 2012. Furthermore, in 2015, the 132/33kV, 2*45MVA was upgraded to 2x63 MVA. Similarly, in 2015, a new 132/11kV, 22.5 MVA Transformer Bay was installed, and in 2021, a new 132/66 kV, 63 MVA Transformer Bay was added.
